This coffee placed #4 in the 2024 Cup of Excellence competition.
The farm is located at the foot of a mountain, at 2341 MASL, which inspired its name: "La Montaña” (The Mountain). You can hear the voice of the mountain, the whistling of birds, and the chirping of insects that accompany the daily work of Don Alcides Contreras and his family. They manage a shaded farm with various species of native trees, providing suitable and ideal conditions for organic coffee cultivation.
